You must know why I like to surf facebook.. it is fairly interesting to see the videos posted.. or read what people write about.. and sometimes makes me ponder

" Women are like apples on trees. The best ones are at the top of the tree. Most men don't want to reach for the good ones because they are afraid of falling and getting hurt. Instead, they sometimes take the apples from the ground that aren't as good, but easy. The apples at the top think something is wrong with them, when in reality, they're ... moreamazing. They just have to wait for the right man to come along, the one who is brave enough to climb all the way to the top of the tree. "

Being happily attached... so am i the rotten apple my bf picked from the ground?

*scratches head*

haha. erm. of cuz that's not what the writer meant.

I cannot analyse this advice any further anymore. But I'm sure alot of different viewpoints will start popping up when you guys read it.

Its 8am on a sunday morning and all I want is for my bf to be back in singapore!!!

Back~

When this page becomes quiet like a mouse, you'll know its either I'm super busy, or that someone has been around to hear my yakking so I dun write here as much... whee.. haha.. Fortunately... it's both...

As most of you would know, work has finally started on monday. It had been a good 2-3 months wait since I got confirmation for the position.. so it still feels a little surreal (especially after all that anticipation) Well. Starting work. leaving the home at 630 am. getting stuck in a room for 8 hours. no TV. no facebook. They say it takes at least 3 weeks to develop a habit, so am just trying to relax now, take a chill pill and slowly get used to the new routine.

Nonethless, first week of work had been pretty busy, time flies and before we realise, it was time to pack up and leave already. Btw, 9 of us started work on the the same day. We'll be working with the same client so we're having training together these 2 weeks.. Starting work together with 8 others makes it quite fun. Although I'm the only fresh grad, most of them have years of working experience. I have so much to learn from them I guess...

Hmmm.

My bosses they're Americans (MNC company) and its kinda exciting. For now at least, because I haven't had much opportunitites to be around Americans. And I always watch American shows.. LOL.. so now I finally get to interact with them.. Its just like getting to know them and their culture on a face to face level, unlike watching sitcoms / tv series or reality shows. you know what i mean.

I went shopping for snacks to put at my desk - just in case i felt hungry and needed some emergency food. Turns out, i was binging on them right after lunch, when I have nothing much to do, or after a really stressful training session.. Finished 10 packets of crackers in a day. ahh!! such a rookie mistake. Yuka was saying "no amy you dun put snacks at your desk!!" hmm, so the next day I brought in Almonds.. 1kg big bag of Almonds. My collegues absolutely love snacking on them too.. They're so healthy right! :)

The next morning I woke up with a guilty pang. So I went for a 5km jog at 5am.. the fresh air and cool weather.. very shiokaluluz! And there wasn't really anyone at the stadium (maybe another 2 ppl?).. so halfway my jog i deciddd to run the opposite direction of the stadium track.. haha.. ppl who jog at the studium.. u will realise that the level of the track is tilting inwards ( imagine if it rains, all the water will be collected at lane 1-3). So sometimes its good to run opposite direction too.. yupp.. so after that jog.. somehow I felt so refreshed at work the entire day.. will gonna try that again soon.

alrighty...

Aniwaes 'tis just a quick update about what happening. Am pretty bummed I havent been able to catch up with my friends as much. But hopefully soon.

Take care y'all.. have a great sunday!

rockclimbing

If you're still in brisbane.

gooo! start rockclimbing. before you come back to singapore and realise how much you have missed out on kangeroo point.

kangeroo point. 10 minutes walk from school. 20 minutes walk from city.

a long stretch of rock wall...

BBQ area right behind...

I can't begin to explain how much i miss brisbane :( work hasn't started for me yet (4 more weeks to go)... so i have ample time and boredom to intensify my "imissbrissyyyy" mood.

LOL.

in order words. i'm just bored lah.

*whine whine whine...*

oh... sooo ... aniwaesss..

rockclimbing.

if ure interested to climb, call me, will be doing so almost every tuesday evening.

What i love most about it , is the whole phenomenon of Mind Over Matter.

sometimes i move into a stance (awkward position) therefore hands and fingers frantically fumbling around for something to grab, some crack to dig my fingernails into.. just so to maintain the godamn balance.

then i'll fall, backwards.

just because i was frantic, and unsure....

so the next time.. with the same stance.. i try to remain calm and positive

tuck in tummy, thinking "this could be easy", and reach my toe for the tiny foothold which seems like miles away, *this could be easy!* rest there, *this could be easy!* then push body upwards for that hand hold which seemed impossible to reach.

turns out.. that split second move was actually so easy.

i love that feeling.

mind over matter.

*zeenggg!*

hahaha..

sorry am getting high from boredom..

:P

just another slow saturday, just like the rest

woke up at 930 to find my redpaintednails imprinted with lines by my hair. probably last night, i dozed off, asleep, while waiting for them to dry. so i put another coat of redpolish and was handicapped. cant wash face, cant brush teeth, cant go down and buy food. surf facebook, surf youtube, surf on nutritional facts of avocado... b o r i n g. went outta the room. read the straits times. Damn. Main section with dad. ok nvm. Read section B onwards. Disasters, deaths, crappy government aid *zzz.. hmmm whats new around the world...* Massive mattresses and pillows discounts which reminds me i need a quilt. Look at phones and try to resist the urge of buying a new one. The electronics advertisements, deadliest, Why they all still look so good in 2D and Black&White? :((((

Then.

Omg.

Special Edition: "Did LeeKwanYew become PM by one vote?"

The never ending hoo haa about LKY's glorious days, glorious moments, like you know, the time where he cried for our dear mother nation when we were kicked out by our neighbour (still have the social studies tb lurking around somewhere.)

But.

Like, who cares anymore?

You know what's quite sad about our local newspapers.

Not much freedom to write about political parties, so always resort to writing about PAP history.. every once in a while, an article like this would pop up!

correct what, its still about politics, will do :X

------------

btw, the special edition article is to promote some book.

[Men in White: The untold story of singapore's ruling political party
] -- maybe you could get it if u hadn't paid enough attention in social studies class

----------

*some sort of disclaimer: i have the deepest respect for our former PM, but sometimes, its just, "enough already". Abit sian already - you know? >.<
